It is possible to search in the indexes that ArkivDigital have directely from the Family tree.

It is most common to have the Family view open when working with the Family tree.

  • Choose a Focus person

  • Open the Person profile view (se below) for the person to be able to add events, search in registers etc.

  • Click on the three dots at the top left and choose Search in register.

  • Choose which register to search in. In this example, Population in Sweden 1950 is chosen.

  • The index search opens (behind the family tree) and the numbers of matches appear.
You might have to decrease/minimize the tree so see the matches.

  • Choose to open the correct match from the index search.

  • Open the Family tree again.

  • Click on Add event.

  • Choose Residence.

  • Type information regarding the year(s) the person lived on the specific place.
